Alright. So let me just come out and say it.
I love Christmas! I love Christmas music and Christmas movies and absolutely anything related to the holiday!
It makes me so damn happy and excited!
So when I had my first born I was absolutely ecstatic to have the opportunity to rewatch some classics (not that I needed the excuse).
It has become a Christmas Tradition in our home to get together as a family and watch Christmas movies leading up to the 25th (and most certainly binge watch movies all Christmas Day)
These are the absolute best Christmas movies for toddlers (but kids of all ages will surely enjoy them!)

Best Christmas Movies For Toddlers
I’ve watched (and loved) all these movies growing up and they are all perfect for toddlers as they are sure to be mesmerized from the beginning until the end!
Needless to say, these are all Rated G and age appropriate for kids of all ages.
..
Frosty The Snowman
Everytime I watch this holiday movie, I get a taaaad emotional. I don’t know what it is, it just always tugs at my hearts strings.
This is a must-see movie for all kids! I would even go far as to say it is the first Christmas movie a child should watch!
I’m excited to show this movie to my daughter this coming season for the first time and I hope she will love it as much as I do.
..
Disney’s A Christmas Carol
Don’t judge me, but I didn’t actually watch this movie until a year or so ago (not even the old version). I don’t know what took me so long (I’m a big Jim Carrey fan!) but I absolutely loved it!
Apparently, all versions are very similar, but I recommend the latest one that has amazing graphics and visuals. I would have given anything to be able to watch it in 3D in theaters when it came out!
..
Santa Buddies
Okay. The entire storyline is AHHH–DORABLE!! It literally has a golden retriever called Santa Paws. Enough said.
I don’t know any kid that won’t fall absolutely in love with this movie as it an engaging story of how these pups save Christmas.
Warning: There is a 100% chance your kids will beg for a puppy for Christmas after watching this.
..
Get Santa
This movie isn’t as popular as it should be (perhaps because it’s a British production and not well known in the states) but it should be high up on your list of Christmas movies because it’s amazing!
Get Santa is a great family movie that even older kids will enjoy and (literally) laugh out loud!
..
Frozen
Watch this Disney animated movie that will dazzle your kids. This movie has blown up so much, it’s practically the Lion King of the 21st century.
Fair warning: The ‘Let It Go’ soundtrack will get stuck in your head.
..
Prancer
Another one of Santa’s reindeers gets the spotlight in this film. It’s the story of a young girl who finds an injured reindeer. She believes it’s Santa’s reindeer Prancer and nurses it back to health.
Prepare for this movie to tug at your heartstrings.
..
Elf
I can’t believe it’s been 16 years since this movie first made it’s debut. I feel absoliutely in love with it within the first 15 minutes.
Elf is the story of a baby who gets raised by Santa’s elves. He grows up not knowing he’s human but always feeling out of place. When he realizes who he really is, he goes on an adventure to find out where he’s from.
..
Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas
George and The Man In The Yellow Hat are celebrating Christmas together but don’t know what to get one another. The entire story is adorable and a great way to spend an afternoon with your little one.
One of the best Christmas movies for toddlers that’s sure to leave them in awe.
..
A Christmas Story
This movie is as symbolic of Christmas as Christmas trees and lights! If you’ve never seen this classic, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll be so glad you watched it! A must see every Holiday season.
..
The Polar Express
Get some hot chocolate and put this movie in on Christmas Eve to be taken away to a beautiful and whimsical world full of wonder.
Not only is the storyline wonderful, the graphics are pretty spectacular as well!
