My name is Silvia and I run this little blog, along with the help of one of my daughters.
That’s right, one of them.
A little bit about me. I met and fell in love with a wonderful man 5 years ago. Not only did I fall in love with him, but his son and daughter.
I never, ever, thought I would be a step-mom. I wasn’t necessarily against dating someone with children. But dating someone with soon-to-be teenage kids?! NO WAY! LOL.
I remember what I was like back then and I’ve babysat enough in my early 20s to know how difficult they can be.
But the world works in mysterious ways and now I’m a step-mom to two wonderful teenagers who I love (on most days! haha)
Not only that, but in 2019 I was blessed enough to have a child of my own. The most beautiful baby girl I have ever laid eyes on.
My entire world has been flipped upside down in such a short period of time!
I went from a hard-working, professional woman to an even more hardworking mom-of-three who didn’t want to leave the house.
Just like I never thought I would be a step-mom, I also never thought I’d want to be a stay-at-home mom.
But the second I had my baby girl, I knew I wanted to be there for every single moment of her young life. I took my maternity leave and just never came back.
I mean, I’m raising teens now as well (every other week! it counts. Trust me, it counts), and although I love them to bits, they sure can be a handful 😂
So I want to enjoy this little booger for as long as I can. Before she hits those wonderful teenage years where I ’embarrass her’ 😆
